A Guided Goals Exercise: This is where you’ll hash out what YOU really want to get out of the program and keep it front and center so that you know WHERE you are going.
Coaching: You’ll receive 2 coaches calls each month
#1: A guided discussion with a Q & A session. This gives us the chance to talk about a specific challenge in freelancing and gives you the opportunity to ask specific questions about that topic.
#2: A hot seat session featuring 2 participants. This is your chance to bring your specific questions and challenges to the group and allows us to provide some specific and direct feedback.
Recordings: Recorded coaching calls so you can refer back to them at any time.
Community: A private Slack community for advice, some accountability, and support from your peers.
Weekly prompts: Quick discussion points about the upcoming Q&A session.
Progress log: A simple way for you to check your goals at the beginning and end of each week.
Email support: On-demand support for those little hiccups that might make you feel stuck and our guidance to get unstuck quickly.
One 1:1 coaching call each month: A call to get you back on track if we’re in between coaching sessions and it just makes more sense to pick up the phone when you need to.
(with 3-month commitment)
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: When does the next coaching session kick off?
A: We’ll start in mid-January and offer enrollment on a rolling basis.
Q:Is there a limit to the number of spots in the program?
A: Yes, we will take up to 8 students at any given time.
Q: Is there an application process?
A: There is not a formal application process, but we’ll have a preliminary call to have a chance to get to know each other and make sure that it’s a good fit for both parties. After the call, we’ll send you an email with a link for payment.
Q:How does the payment plan work?
A: Whether you decide to go month-to-month or opt for the 3-month plan, your first payment is due after the preliminary call. This will hold your spot in the program. If you choose the 3-month program, you will be charged upfront for the cost of the 3 months.
Q:What time will the group coaching sessions be held?
A: We’ll poll members to find the most ideal time for everyone. However, we’ll likely have participants from all over the map, so finding a good time will require some flexibility. If you do miss a session, the recordings will be available.
Q: How will we have access to the private community?
A: You have access to the community as long as you are a paying member.
Q: What if the program is not a good fit for me?
A: We’ll offer a money-back guarantee for the first 30 days.
STILL UNDECIDED AND WONDERING IF GROUP COACHING IS FOR YOU?
We get it. This kind of coaching is an investment.
But...it’s an investment in yourself that is designed to help you get unstuck and make some real progress in your business.
For many of you, this might be the first time that you’ve ever thought about paying for group coaching (or any coaching for that matter). It’s perfectly natural to feel a little uncertain.
But doing this freelance thing on your own can be kind of scary and overwhelming when you try to do it alone. Trust us, we’ve been there. We’ve made the mistakes and learned our lessons. We’ve been in the trenches and fought our way out.
And now we’re on a mission to help you fast track through those bumps in the road that held us back.
So if you’ve read our blog, talked to us directly, or taken our course, we’re hoping that our message resonates with you.
Here’s what one of our students had to say:
If you’re on the fence and the timing is just not right, we understand.
But, if your gut is saying to you right now, “This sounds like just what I need,” then join us.
IF YOU FIND THAT YOU’RE CONSTANTLY SPINNING YOUR WHEELS AND YOUR BUSINESS JUST ISN’T MOVING IN THE DIRECTION THAT YOU WANT IT TO GO, THEN NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE A SMART INVESTMENT IN YOURSELF.
Have you ever thought back to a time and said to yourself, “Geez, I wish I knew then what I know now”? Yep, that’s me when I think back to when I started my freelance medical writing business. Lots of uncertainty and lots of self-doubt.
Trust me, I wasted a lot of time and energy on things that just simply didn’t matter.
But little by little, I figured things out. From both a business perspective and from a writing perspective. That’s why I’m here to help you cut through the clutter of what works and what doesn’t to build a profitable freelance business.
I’ve built a successful freelance medical writing business without ever spending a dollar on marketing. I still have 75% of the clients that I started with in the beginning, and I really believe that keeping those "sticky" clients is soooo much easier than finding new ones.
It's hard to leave the career you've been pursuing for a long time, where you've become an expert, and where the path is well-trodden and well-defined. It's even harder to embark on something as adventurous as freelance writing, isn't it?
If only someone had a roadmap and a formula for how to make sure that it all worked out...
Hi, I'm Maria, and I'm very familiar with this scenario. I've switched careers twice (once from genetics to law; then from law to freelance writing and consulting). Along the way, I learned a lot about marketing and business development, how to use LinkedIn and Twitter to build relationships and get clients, and how to write my way to a solid income.
Now, my clients think I'm "a wizard with words" and a "lifesaver." That’s why they come back. And as Jenn said - it’s soooo much easier to keep the clients you’ve got than to find new ones.
Coaching can be really (REALLY) expensive, but with our program, you’ll get access to all of its benefits for about the price of one cappuccino per day. An investment of $165 per month on a month-to-month plan or $450 for a 3-month package is all that it takes. And no amount of cappuccino-drinking will give your business the focus, direction, and acceleration that this program will.
